PLEASE NOTE:
These are not finished to the standard as my more expensive custom made picks, this is a ready to work set. The steel has had a quick polish only, no sanding, so please expect to find some minor tooling marks, as is normal with commercial picks.
The scales are cut from 3mm cast acrylic sheet using a CNC router, the outer edges are subtly rounded over, hand finished with sanding sponges to smooth out the cut and are then lightly buffed on a wheel.
Due to manufacturing tolerances of the acrylic the female screws provided may have been shortened to ensure a secure fit, please bear this in mind when swapping scales around yourself. A fine blade 6mm flat screwdriver is recommended to ensure no damage to the delicate screw heads when removing or fitting the scales.
Picks provided will come fully assembled.
The new version of Lockmaster lockpicks from Wendt with interchangeable handles also offer the chance to add custom handles too. I was delighted to get the opportunity to officially work on the project and can now offer custom handles to jazz up or personalise your lock picks. I work with different kinds of materials and colours including some woods, but mostly I work in acrylics, which I can supply in virtually any colour.
